Psychotherapy Beyond Symptom Relief

Many of the people I work with are thoughtful and self-aware, yet find themselves caught in patterns that feel difficult to change. They may appear successful on the outside while inwardly feeling anxious, dissatisfied, or stuck. Some have already participated in therapy and feel ready to explore themselves at a deeper level. Depth-oriented psychotherapy offers a space to approach these experiences with curiosity, reflection, and care.

Psychoanalytic psychotherapy explores how unconscious emotional patterns and past experiences continue to influence how we live, love, and understand ourselves. Together we explore the feelings, patterns, and questions that may have remained difficult to make sense of on your own. Over time, this process can open the possibility for new ways of relating to yourself and to others.

My work is grounded in depth-oriented psychoanalytic psychotherapy and informed by more than 25 years of clinical experience. I integrate approaches such as EMDR, trauma-informed yoga, exposure and response prevention (ERP), and psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy when appropriate. This integrative approach allows therapy to address the emotional, relational, and somatic dimensions of psychological experience.

As an immigrant and native Spanish speaker, I bring a culturally attuned perspective to my work and welcome clients who are navigating cultural identity, immigration experiences, or life between languages and cultures.

I work especially well with thoughtful adults, creatives, immigrants, and fellow therapists who are drawn to depth-oriented psychological work.

My practice is private pay, which means I do not bill insurance companies directly. This allows therapy to remain confidential and tailored to your needs rather than insurance requirements. If your plan offers out-of-network benefits, I can provide documentation that you may submit for possible reimbursement.

If you're curious whether working together might be helpful, I invite you to reach out to schedule a consultation.

Relationship Issues
